The main mission of Simon Publications Inc. is locating and republishing classic books on history that were not available for generations of readers. We have also published a carefully selected collection of historical fiction, and a few notable classic books on economics and philosophy.
In the history collection, our typical book received a Pulitzer Prize in History well over seventy years ago and was out-of-print for many decades. Our historical fiction titles may have received the Pulitzer or Hawthornden Prize or were on a bestseller list at their time.
Many of these books date back to the nineteenth century. To be selected, the author must be either a noted historian or a person of worldwide renown. We try to find books that depict episodes of history in a manner undistorted by subsequent bias, self-serving misrepresentations and prejudice.
We aim to bring back and republish books for our readers containing the original facts. They provide scholarly insight and knowledge of history free from intellectual pasteurization and homogenization found in today’s textbooks that conform to the prevailing political dogma.
At the present time, our collection contains over two hundred titles written by more than a hundred authors. More are on the way.
