Internet Sales Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply only to on-line purchases from Simon Publications made
through our Internet site at www.simonpublications.com
The terms "you", "your" and "yours" refer to the customer/purchaser utilizing our Internet site to purchase books (“Product”). The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Simon Publications.
Returns and Refunds for On-line Purchases
General Book Returns
All Internet sales of books from the Simon Publications website are considered final.
Books purchased on-line through the Simon Publications Internet site may be returned for replacement provided the book is defective or damaged within 10 days from book receipt by you or a party designated by you to receive the book. Books must be returned with its original box, and packaging. A description of the defect or problem must accompany the book.
Defective books returned during the applicable return period will be exchanged for the exact same book at no additional charge to you.
Simon Publications does not accept return of books outside the 10-day window of book receipt by you or a party designated by you to receive the book. Simon Publications does not refund orders.
Within the return period, Simon Publications will exchange books that were shipped in error. Exchanges for books received that are not the book ordered are provided at no additional cost upon verification. Proof of purchase (e.g. receipt and/or packing slip) is required for all returns.
Mail Returns
General Merchandise Return Policy
Books purchased on-line through Simon Publications, which meets the return guidelines above, may be returned via mail to our authorized return center. Before returning anything by mail to us, you first must obtain a Return Authorization ("RA").
To obtain a RA, email us at returns@simonpublications.com . Any returns mailed to us without a pre-approved RA may be refused without notice, automatically returned, and a handling fee assessed. An RA is good for 10 days.
Please note you will be responsible for all shipping and insurance charges for returns, unless otherwise indicated. If you choose not to insure your package, and we do not accept return of the Product for reasons stated above, you will be responsible for any loss or damage. Shipping fees are non-refundable. For exchanges of a defective product, we will refund shipping charges.
Please allow 30 days from when we receive your Product for the processing of your replacement.
Order Cancellations
Once an order is placed on the Simon Publications website it is considered final. We are unable to replace any purchase from the Simon Publications site from the time your order is placed until the book is received by you and returned to us.
Shipped Products
Simon Publications does not ship to PO Boxes.
When buying products from Simon Publications, you may have it shipped via one of our available shipping options. Simon Publications currently ships orders during normal business days (Monday-Friday). Weekend shipment of orders is not currently available. Simon Publications uses “Print on Demand” technology to manufacture its books. Simon Publications does not keep any inventory of books as each book is manufactured per order. For this reason allow up to three weeks for receipt of books from time of order. You assume all risk of loss for shipped Products. Also, please be sure that your ordering information is accurate and complete to avoid delays. Products cannot be shipped to incomplete addresses.
Ordering Information and Payment Methods
We are not liable for orders that we cannot fulfill due to causes beyond our control or for incomplete or inaccurate information being supplied by you or someone acting for you, including your Internet service provider, at the time your order is placed. Such information includes but is not limited to partial or incorrect credit or payment information.
At Simon Publications, for your convenience we accept the following forms of payment for your online purchases: MasterCard®, Visa®. For your online purchases, you may purchase multiple books in a single order; however, we can only accept one form of payment for each order.
We are unable to accept cash, checks, or gift certificates for online purchases, nor do we accept C.O.D. orders or wire transfers for such purchases.
Institutions such as universities or bookstores are encouraged to contact Simon Publications directly for high volume orders that can be arranged through purchase order. Please refer to the contact information provided on this website.
When using your card, first enter your name exactly as it appears on the card. Then fill out your card billing address as it appears on your credit card account statement and list the phone numbers that are on file with your credit card company. If you have already registered with Simon Publications and have signed in with us, this information will be filled in automatically. It's easy to change or make corrections to this information by simply highlighting the information you want to change and typing in the new information.
Privacy Policy
We realize that customers are concerned about how the information they provide on-line will be used. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will use the information we collect about you to process your order and provide a more personalized shopping experience.
What Information Do We Collect and How Do We Use It?
When you place an order, we ask you to provide information to complete and fill the order by filling out and submitting an on-line form. This information includes your name, telephone number, mailing address, e-mail address and credit card information. Any typographical, photographic, or specification error in book description, pricing or offers is subject to correction and verification. On-line sales are intended for, and limited to, personal use sales only. Warranties for exported products may vary or be null and void. We reserve the right to limit the number of books sold, including the right to prohibit sales to re-sellers. Prices do not include shipping, tax and insurance. Proof of purchase and postage may be required for rebates.
